The Ballard Inn features fifteen beautifully decorated rooms, each evoking a particular aspect of the area's history.

The Mountain Room

This is our largest and most popular room. Decorated in warm autumn colors, the mountain room features a stately leather and brass bed, comfortable wing back chairs, a balcony with seating for two and a cozy fireplace.

Cynthia's Room

Cynthia's Room is considered by many to be our most romantic room with its beautiful white brick fireplace and elegant red toile décor. It is very popular for anniversaries and wedding nights!

The Equestrian Room

Inspired by the Santa Ynez Valley’s history of horse ranches, this room is one of our largest.   It circular bay window alcove looks out over the tree lined street.  It is decorated in a masculine style with deep greens and burgandys.  The small meeting table seats four and makes it perfect for business or a relaxed get together with friends.

The Vineyard Room

Dedicated to the great winemakers of Santa Barbara Wine Country, the Vineyard Room features a unique hand crafted bent willow furniture. The room is one of our largest, with a circular bay window and an alcove.

The Alamo Pintado Room

This room is Victorian in decor, with an old fashioned settee. Decorated in sage green and rose with a beautiful floral quilt on the bed.

The Fiesta Room

This room is located downstairs in the annex, just steps from the front porch.  The Fiesta room features a many windows, with a view of a tiny fenced garden and the streets of Ballard.  It has a fireplace and is decorated in rich reds and golds.

The Wildflower Room

Located in the annex, This room has a fireplace and is decorated with a floral theme of pinks, purples, and green.  It is consider by many to be one of our more romantic and private room.

The Windmill Room

This is one of our most beautiful rooms, with a bent willow bed, a stained glass window and a fainting couch. This room is accessible to the physically challenged and has a walk-in shower. Located in our downstairs annex building and features a wood burning fireplace.

Davy Brown's Room

This room is very rustic and feels like the inside of a log cabin, with rugs on hardwood floors and  river rock fireplace. The stones from the fireplace are from our local river. Its cozy red plaid duvet and antique rockers add to the ambiance making this fun and romantic room one of our most popular.
